Covenant Conversations
DON’T JUST READ IT. TALK ABOUT IT. LIVE IT.
BEHOLD THE MAN — MANHOOD’S COVENANT was not written simply to be read and placed on a shelf. It was written to bring us back to Jesus Christ and to open meaningful conversations about discipleship, manhood, marriage, fatherhood, family, responsibility, and spiritual formation.
Covenant Conversations is where those conversations continue.
Read together. Sit down with your sons. Gather with your brothers. Bring the conversation into your home, men’s group, ministry, or church. And sometimes, simply sit alone before God with an open Bible, an open book, and an open heart.
BRING BACK FAMILY NIGHT
The groundwork does not begin when a son becomes a grown man. Fathers, mothers, grandparents, mentors, and spiritual leaders can begin laying that groundwork now.
Ask the questions. Read the Scriptures. Listen to one another. Talk about the difficult things. Most importantly, keep bringing the conversation back to Jesus Christ.
START THE CONVERSATION
For Personal Reflection:
What is Jesus Christ revealing about me as I work through this book?
For Fathers & Sons:
What kind of man are we learning to become by looking at Jesus?
For Mothers Raising Sons:
What groundwork can I begin laying now that points my son toward Christ-centered manhood?
For Husbands & Wives:
What can we learn together about discipleship, covenant, responsibility, and the health of our home?
For Men’s Groups & Churches:
Don’t rush through the chapters. Read. Reflect. Discuss. Pray. Apply the Word.
THE CONVERSATION BEGINS WITH CHRIST
We were always told:
“Be a man.”
Manhood’s Covenant asks us to look deeper:
Be like Christ.
